Description
Centered in anatomical position, the male skeletal system is presented from head to toe, with the skull and facial skeleton isolated in blue against the natural bone tone of the axial and appendicular skeleton. From the anterior aspect you can anticipate the frontal bone and supraorbital margins superiorly, paired orbits laterally framing the nasal bones and piriform aperture at midline, and the maxilla forming the inferior orbital rim and anterior hard palate region. Inferiorly, the mandible outlines the chin at the mental protuberance, while the zygomatic bones define the lateral cheek contours; posterior elements of the cranium remain largely obscured from this projection. The rib cage, sternum, clavicles, scapulae, vertebral column, pelvis, and upper and lower limbs provide whole-body context and scale. An anterior full-body view with the cranium emphasized supports teaching and clinical communication where facial bony landmarks need to be referenced in relation to overall posture and skeletal alignment.
