Presented in lateral profile, the semi-transparent soft tissues of the female head reveal the cerebral hemispheres with prominent gyri and sulci, the cerebellum posteroinferiorly, and the brainstem tapering caudally into the cervical spinal cord. Yellow cranial nerve trunks emerge from the ventral aspect of the brainstem and project anteriorly and inferiorly toward the orbit, face, and upper neck, while cervical spinal nerve roots exit laterally from the cervical vertebrae. Superficial facial landmarks (eye, nose, lips, and auricular region) remain visible as an external reference for the deeper neuroanatomy. Orientation stays intuitive.
