Description
Centered on the midface, patchy light brown to grayish-brown macules spread across the malar cheeks and extend toward the zygomatic arches, with softer, less sharply demarcated pigment reaching medially toward the nasal sidewalls. A frontal facial orientation keeps the eyes, eyebrows, and perioral region in anatomical position for comparison of symmetry, while the background isolates surface detail such as follicular pores and subtle erythema over the cheeks. The distribution reads as predominantly bilateral, with pigment sitting superficially in the epidermal plane rather than forming palpable lesions.
