Description
Running along the lateral aspect of the upper arm, the fascia brachii (brachial fascia) forms a continuous connective tissue sleeve from the inferior border of the deltoid region toward the elbow, blending distally with the antebrachial fascia across the cubital region. Intermuscular septa extend from this fascia to the humerus, separating the anterior compartment containing biceps brachii and brachialis from the posterior compartment containing triceps brachii. Superficial landmarks of the male full body in lateral profile place the arm slightly anterior to the thorax, with the fascia conforming to the contours of the shoulder, arm, and forearm.
