Description
Anterior cervical anatomy is presented on a standing male child in anatomical position, with the thyroid gland highlighted in red over the lower anterior neck. The right and left lobes sit anterolateral to the upper trachea and inferior to the thyroid cartilage, joined across the midline by the isthmus at approximately the level of the second to fourth tracheal rings.
