Description
Sweeping across the calvaria and upper cervical region, the cranial vasculature is rendered with arteries in red and veins in blue, allowing immediate separation of inflow and outflow pathways. Superficial scalp vessels course over the outer table of the skull while deep channels track toward the cranial base, where the internal carotid and vertebral systems would be expected to contribute to intracranial circulation.
