Description
Seen in lateral profile, the full male skeleton is presented with the humerus highlighted along the brachium. Proximally, the humeral head aligns with the glenoid cavity of the scapula at the shoulder, while distally the shaft descends to the elbow where the distal humerus articulates with the ulna and radius. Along the lateral aspect of the midshaft, the deltoid tuberosity forms a roughened prominence for deltoid insertion, positioned anterior to the posterior border of the humerus and superior to the supracondylar region. Radius, ulna, and the bones of the hand remain in view as distal references, with the axial skeleton, ribs, pelvis, and lower limb bones providing whole-body orientation. Clear landmarks.
