Across the dorsum of the male foot, superficial lymphatic vessels course in a fine plexus over the metatarsals and toward the ankle, tracking along the dorsal venous arch and the extensor tendons before converging medially and laterally at the malleolar regions. Extensor hallucis longus and extensor digitorum longus tendons lie superficially across the midfoot, with extensor digitorum brevis muscle bellies occupying the dorsolateral forefoot. Deep to the lymphatic network sit the dorsal metatarsal arteries and veins, accompanied by branches of the superficial fibular nerve, while the navicular, cuneiforms, and metatarsals define the bony scaffold in neutral tone. Orientation is strictly dorsal, with proximal structures at the ankle and distal structures at the toes. Clear landmarks.
