Description
Continuous fascial planes are rendered across the entire male body, emphasizing the superficial fascia (subcutaneous tissue) and the deeper investing fascia that encloses and separates regional muscle compartments. In the trunk, the thoracolumbar fascia forms a dense posterior sheet related to the erector spinae, while the deep fascia thickens into recognizable specializations such as the fascia lata of the thigh and the crural fascia of the leg.
