Description
Running along the lateral wall of the external nose, the lateral nasal vein is traced over the nasal cartilages, with tributaries draining the alar and dorsolateral nasal skin. Superiorly it communicates toward the angular vein at the medial canthus, where venous channels course adjacent to the orbit, while inferiorly its flow joins the facial vein along the nasolabial region.
