Positioned deep to the gracilis and adductor longus on the medial thigh, the adductor brevis forms a short, triangular muscle belly spanning from the body and inferior ramus of the pubis to the proximal linea aspera and pectineal line of the femur. An anterior perspective also brings the pubic symphysis, obturator foramen margins, and proximal femora into context, with the brevis lying medial to pectineus and anterior to adductor magnus. Its fascicles run inferolaterally from the pubis, placing the tendonous origin superior and medial to its femoral insertion. Clear layering matters here.
