Description
Palmar anatomy is rendered in an x-ray style with the hand supinated, extending from the distal forearm through the carpus, metacarpus, and phalanges. Red arterial channels trace the radial and ulnar arteries across the wrist into the superficial and deep palmar arches, from which common palmar digital arteries and proper palmar digital arteries run distally along the fingers toward the terminal tufts. Semi-transparent blue osseous landmarks, including the carpal bones, metacarpals, and phalanges, provide positional reference as the arches span transversely across the palm, deep to the palmar aponeurosis and superficial to the metacarpals.
