Description
Seen through a transparent male habitus, the cervical vertebral column (C1 to C7) is rendered in lateral profile with the posterior spinal vein traced as a blue venous channel along the dorsal aspect of the spinal cord. The vessel courses longitudinally within the vertebral canal, positioned posterior to the cord and posterior to the vertebral bodies, with its caliber contrasted against adjacent arterial structures in the same field. Spinous processes and transverse processes provide bony reference points, while lightly shaded paraspinal soft tissues frame the canal without obscuring the venous vasculature.
