Presented in a standing female figure in left three quarter orientation, the cardiovascular system is traced from the heart in the middle mediastinum through the great vessels and into the peripheral arterial and venous trees. The ascending aorta and aortic arch give rise to the brachiocephalic trunk, left common carotid artery, and left subclavian artery, with corresponding jugular and subclavian venous return converging toward the superior vena cava. Distally, major conduits course along expected anatomic corridors: axillary to brachial vessels in the arm, abdominal aorta to common iliac and femoral vessels in the lower limb, and superficial venous pathways paralleling the deep system.
