Description
Positioned on the palmar aspect of the left wrist and proximal hand, the triquetrocapitate ligament spans from the anterior surface of the triquetrum on the ulnar side toward the capitate in the central distal carpal row. The capitate sits distal to the lunate and proximal to the base of the third metacarpal, while the triquetrum lies proximal and ulnar, adjacent to the hamate and near the pisiform. Surrounding osseous landmarks include the remaining carpal bones, metacarpals, and proximal phalanges, providing orientation for the midcarpal region. Short and taut.
