Description
Lateral aspect of the male upper limb is rendered from the shoulder to the hand with the brachial fascia (deep fascia of the arm) and antebrachial fascia continuing distally as an investing sheath around the musculature. Proximally, the deltoid caps the shoulder, while the fascia envelops the anterior compartment (biceps brachii, brachialis) and posterior compartment (triceps brachii) as it courses along the lateral border of the humerus. Distally, the fascial sleeve tightens around the elbow, blending with the epicondylar region and continuing over the forearm extensor mass before transitioning into tendinous expansions toward the wrist and dorsolateral hand.
