Description
Running over the male cranium and face, a superficial and deep venous network is traced against the bony landmarks of the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital bones, with the coronal, sagittal, and lambdoid sutures kept as clear orientation points. Scalp veins converge toward the temporal region and posteriorly toward the occiput, while facial tributaries course inferiorly toward the neck, where the internal jugular vein descends medial to the sternocleidomastoid region and the external jugular vein tracks more laterally toward the clavicle.
