Description
Arising from the right upper lobar bronchus, the apical segmental bronchus (B1) courses superiorly and slightly posteriorly into the apex of the right upper lobe. From a posterior perspective, its relationship to the posterior segmental bronchus (B2) is apparent, with B1 positioned more cranial and often more medial as it disappears into the upper lobe parenchyma.
