Prominent superficial and deep venous pathways of the male head are rendered in a lateral cranial view, with blue vessels tracing over the cerebral convexity and converging toward the midline dural sinuses. Cortical veins course within the sulci toward the superior sagittal sinus, while larger anastomotic channels, including the superficial middle cerebral vein and the superior anastomotic vein of Trolard, bridge between lateral and superior drainage territories. At the skull base, deep venous return is suggested by convergence toward the cavernous sinus region, with outflow continuing posteriorly toward the transverse and sigmoid sinuses and into the internal jugular vein.
